Tierra Burns is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and founder/ CEO of Tierra Burns LLC. She is a leading strategist and therapist in emotional wealth and performance strategies that are impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, mental traps/blocks, and distress tolerance. She is trusted by individuals who have to consistently make decisions that shape families, organizations, churches and face constant visibility. She holds a Bachelors in Political Science and English from North Carolina Central University, Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, Master of Arts in Political Science from Howard University. Currently, she is working on her EDD in Sports and Performance Psychology.
With graduate training in clinical social work, political science, theology, and EMDR training, Tierra brings a rare integration of psychological depth, power dynamics, and nervous system mastery to high stakes emotional care. Her clients include founders, executives, athletes, public facing leaders, veterans, military personnel, managers, attorneys, and politicians who require privacy, precision, and mental/emotional containment.
Tierra is licensed as an LCSW in Texas, California, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. Before founding Tierra Burns LLC, Tierra served nine years in the U.S. Army. She trained leaders under pressure, supported soldiers operating in life and death environments, and developed advanced skills in emotional regulation, strategic decision making, and resilience under extreme stress. She was a Master Resilience Trainer in the US Army where she trained soldiers one on one and gave unit presentations to meet beyond the requirements.
Today, she brings that same strategic nervous system mastery to modern leaders navigating power, visibility and responsibility. She is dedicated to her moto of "serving you with the best care because you deserve the best you." Her philosophy is simple: "When your mind is well, everything you touch becomes elite.
